Terms of Service
Acceptance
By adding Ninth Bot to a Discord server, using its commands, or signing in to the dashboard, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the bot.
The service
Ninth Bot is a Discord bot made for Ninth's community and operated by zVapor. It provides support tickets, moderation tools and case history, welcome messages, Twitch and YouTube stream alerts, ban appeals and a web dashboard for server admins and staff. The bot is offered free of charge and may change, pause or stop at any time.
Eligibility
You must meet Discord's minimum age and comply with the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines while using the bot.
Accounts and access
- The dashboard signs you in with your Discord account. You are responsible for keeping that account secure and for anything done through it.
- What you can see and change on the dashboard is decided by your roles and permissions in each Discord server, as checked live by the bot. Having access today does not guarantee access tomorrow.
- Staff and admins must use the data they can see only to moderate and support their own server. Sharing cases, tickets, transcripts or logs outside the server's staff is not allowed.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the bot or dashboard for anything unlawful, harassing or abusive;
- submit false reports, tickets or appeals, or impersonate someone else;
- probe, overload, scrape or disrupt the bot, the dashboard or the API behind them, or try to bypass permission checks;
- use the bot to collect data about users beyond what its features show you;
- upload or post content that infringes someone else's rights.
Moderation and appeals
Moderation actions (warns, timeouts, kicks, bans) are taken by the staff of each server, not by the operator of the bot. The bot records them and, where a server enables it, lets banned users file one appeal at a time through the dashboard. Appeals are decided by that server's staff; the operator does not review or overturn server decisions.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you write in tickets, reports and appeals. You grant the operator and the server's staff the right to store and display that content as needed to run the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Server admins
If you add the bot to a server you are responsible for configuring it lawfully for your members, including telling them that message edits and deletes may be logged when you enable that feature, and for deleting transcripts and logs you no longer need.
Termination
We may suspend or remove access to the bot or dashboard for any server or user that breaks these Terms, abuses the service or puts other users at risk. You may stop using the bot at any time by removing it from your server and asking for your data to be deleted.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the bot will be online, that alerts arrive on time, or that logs and transcripts are complete. Ninth Bot is not affiliated with or endorsed by Discord Inc., Twitch or YouTube.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for moderation decisions taken by server staff, arising from the use of the bot or dashboard. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence are not affected.
Changes
We may update these Terms. The current version is always at https://ninthbot.site/termsand continued use after a change means you accept it. Until 19 October 2026 this page lived at dash.ninthbot.site/terms, which now redirects here.
